We recently met with Dorothy from Fig & Bloom and took the opportunity to pick her brains about how Fig & Bloom could advise this knackered Momma how to power up on healthy stuff for the school run (& beyond!). Fig & Bloom have kindly come up with a series of recipes to that’ll do just that, which we’ll be sharing over the coming weeks…
I like meeting people, and I like being social. Through creating Muklet I’ve been able to connect more with the community around me than I ever would having been stuck working behind a desk 9-9 (the extra hours would be spent working late, checking emails or procrastinating about work!).
The thing (and there are many things as I’m discovering) with running your own business, is that no-one’s telling you what to do, or how to do it. That is unless of course you decide to pay someone to manage your business affairs, and do all the bits you have no clue what to do.
If I get the opportunity to talk to people more after my declaration of Mom-dapendence I like to tell them more about my ‘WHY’ and my ‘HOW’. My motivation for taking the leap into running my own business runs deeper than just wanting to do something for myself, and spend more time with the boys (both the smalls and big one!).
